Terms of service

The service

Appumi provides Shopify App Store data through a JSON API. Appumi is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify.

Acceptable use

You may use the data in your own products, research and analysis. You may not:

• resell or redistribute the raw dataset, in bulk, as a competing API or data feed;
• get around rate limits, for example by rotating keys, accounts or IP addresses;
• share your API key publicly or with people outside your organisation;
• attack, overload or try to break the service.

We may suspend keys or accounts that break these rules.

Accounts and keys

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep your keys secret: you are responsible for requests made with them.

Paid plans

Pro is a monthly subscription. Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as merchant of record and handles invoices and sales tax. You can cancel at any time; see the refund policy.

Data provided as is

The data may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data.

Changes

We may change, limit or stop the service, or update these terms. For changes that matter to paying users, we will give notice by email before they take effect. If the service ends, we will stop billing you.
